I mistakenly ordered the wrong size to use these in my car so I can’t speak to how they fit into fuse holders or fuse compartments. I am an electrician so I did test one of the fuses to see how it would trip when overloaded. When placed in a circuit with a dead short the fuse tripped immediately with no overheating to a properly sized wire. Once the short was cleared the fuse was easily reset. So I can say these resettable fuses should offer protection comparable to a one time use fuse.

I have a few times where a customer comes in to get a key programmed and there's no communication. I've gone through a bunch of fuses trying to program a key. Using these is easy. Plug it in and reset it if necessary. Then at the end i take my fuse back. It's simple to know which one it is because its taller than the rest.Sometimes they'll try getting me to leave it in but I refuse. These are mine

I ordered these to carry as spares in case I blow a throw-away fuse. There is a large range of amperages to fill a wide range. These are also great for troubleshooting, where there is a short somewhere that caused the fuse to blow. Plug in one of these resettable circuit breakers while looking for the short circuit instead of blowing fuses. Useful, good circuit breakers, recommended.

Super convenient to not have to hunt down or buy new fuses. Using these in my camper and can easily just reset if a circuit accidentally gets overloaded

I do emergency response and I have radios that are critical for communication. They are all protected by automotive fuses.The problem with fuses is that if one blows up for any reason, you better have a spare...I got this set and replaced several of my fuses with these circuit breakers. I no longer need to carry spare fuses, this is much safer and dependable!No fitment issues, it fits well into my fuse holder but beware they are taller than fuses so make sure you have extra height
