I have bought different sizes of this same brand candle for years. They have always lived up to their claim of 'non-drip and long lasting'. These were meant to last 8 hours. They should have been fine, but as you can see, they started dripping and disappearing after only 2 hrs.I don't just want to return them and get a refund. I really want to know"What Happened? "

I burn these candles everyday. They are a staple in my home. They are scentless and do not bother my sensitive nose. I am VERY sensitive to smells and chemicals. These have never bothered me. I've been ordering these candles for a couple of years now with no need to change. I like they way the burn straight down without causing a wax drip (unless the air hits them).

I bought these to use for an Advent wreath. We burn them for less than an hour and the wreath is located in a space that experiences no drafts. As such, they burn quite cleanly. They did not fit into the base. We also tried them in other candlesticks and the base was smaller than all the bases. While that easily fixed—drip some other wax into the base and hold the candle in place until the wax cools—it would be better if the base, and correspondingly, the whole stick, were just a bit larger. The extra setup effort will also require addition effort in cleaning the holder after they are used.The colour is perfect though and it goes through the whole candle rather than a white core.

If ANY lit candle is getting any part of a draft, IT WILL DRIP and burn fast! When this candle is lit in the perfect conditions, it doesn't drip and lasts a long time. We had one of these that was lit and sitting under and air vent and when the air would turn on, the candle would drip and burn faster. When the air shut off, it burned perfect. There really is no scent to the candle, the are sturdy, and they are the best candles we've found to use for our ceremonies.
