I discovered these several years ago and used them for my climbing roses. They nail into the spot you want to anchor the cane or vine (like clematis) and then wrap around and push into the nail head. I used them on fences and some trellises for best results. Could use them on a house if pounding nails in your siding doesn't bother you.They hold the canes in place better than twine or twist ties that slip. They pull out with a hammer; to reuse, pliers come in handy for pulling the leaf part off the nail. My only regret is that I didn't save the packaging so I knew who made them-I've tried to find them again for around 5+years.
