Although it looks like German thyme (or English thyme), it definitely tastes and smells like lemon. Use lemon thyme in any recipe that calls for lemon, including marinades. Lemon thyme grows vigorously, so you can trim back to keep neat and compact and enjoy the trimmings! The glossy green foliage is easily sheared into a tiny hedge if you are looking to create a traditional knot garden. Evergreen in zones 8 and 9. This is a really pretty thyme that our customers brag about for its vigor and size. Lemon thyme looks great in a pot.

I order a lot of online live plants and these are packaged the best I have seen. They needed water which is expected but they all looked super healthy.

Arrived VERY HEALTHY and alive!! I was Impressed Woth how they were shipped. They grow so fast!!! I’ve been cutting them down to keep them from being “leggy” I’ve done this at least 10-12x since I’ve received them. I love lemon thyme. And I’m trying and using what I’ve harvested so far.

Plants came early and looked really good. Followed directions and place outside to recover. The plants looked terrible on the second day. I think the plants were straight out of a greenhouse and not ready to be outside yet. 2 weeks from delivery 3 appear dead and the 4th one is limping along. I've bought Bonnie plants for years. These were not up to standard. Buy locally

Was shocked at the coarse reply I received from Bonnie Bell's help desk. I received a box of four Thyme plants more than half dead upon arrival. I contacted them. They tried to get me to replant them and wait. Of course I didn't as that puts the responsibility of making their dead plants grow on me. Nope. This is why I contacted them the same day they arrived when I saw what poor shape they were in. I understand that some people may lie. But what do you do when you are an honest customer who received damaged goods?? Back to the local store for me.

I previously purchased Rosemary, and while I was pleased with the quality of those plants, I was even more impressed with the Thyme I received. While the plants were still significantly smaller than what I expected to receive based on the pictures that were displayed while I was ordering, the plants that arrived were well-packaged, healthy with good root structure, and upon repotting, they began to quickly thrive. I must also say that my plants arrived much sooner than the estimate I received when I placed the order... thanks! I cooked lemon thyme chicken with cuttings from these plants and the flavor is robust and delightful!! Finally, even though the plants were a bit smaller than expected, the quality of the plants far outweighs that, and I highly recommend purchasing live plants from this company.
