The initial cost is something. But this ac is one hell of a Rock Star. Talk about cooling you down... and very quiet. It hardly uses electricity....had a no name, 5k ac, rated at 12 for energy savings. More like 5. The electricity bill was through the roof for this ac. Typical Chinese flim flame on a no brand name unitThis unit is worth every penny. I am so amazed over this technology and this unt and the materials used are top notch. Guys spent your money on this one.

I have had multiple ac units. This is by far the worst one. It runs quickly but it really doesn't cool the room like the old ones did.

Installed it and it started making a noise right away. The super took a look at it and the noise stopped but started again two days later. When it was quiet it was perfect. I could barely hear anything but when the noise starts it's a weird hum. 3 weeks later and the noise is back but worse and irritating.

Our unit arrived damaged. Huge dent on the side of it. Most likely FedEx dropped it but strange red marks on it almost like it was a return from someone else dropping. Either case, being next to the coils not advisable to run. Went to process a return and we have to pay to return it. This unit is not light! Just be prepared to have to go through this hassle if you need to return for any reason.

this worked really well in the hot humid NYC summer. I totally recommend. It has a dehumidifying thing that i thought all ACs had but nope! this one made the space cool very fast and less humid quickly
