Your cart is empty.The Bosch GLL 100 GX Green-Beam Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser features a laser with vertical, horizontal and cross-line modes. The laser projects two lines independently or together, for a broad array of alignment and leveling applications. It includes Bosch-exclusive VisiMax™ technology, which allows for outstanding line visibility in standard working conditions. It constantly monitors the laser's temperature so the diodes are always driven to maximum line visibility, while protecting the laser diodes from overheating. Green beams are up to 4X brighter than standard red beams, and this gives the tool a working range up to 100 Ft. The tool offers an accuracy of ±1/8 In. at 33 Ft. and ±3/8 In. at 100 Ft. The Bosch Smart Pendulum System self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition, to help ensure an accurate layout. It locks the pendulum after the laser is switched off for secure transport. The laser is built with sturdy over-molded construction with an IP 54 rating to protect against dust and water. The included BM3 Positioning Device offers quick setup in ceiling grid applications and free-standing mode with its retractable feet and microfine height adjustment. The package also includes a heavy-duty pouch.

Quick and easy to use, makes bright and precise level and plumb lines that are easy to see and follow. Can be mounted in a number of configurations or simply set on top of a surface and allowed to self-level. Well worth the cost for a variety of building tasks, including installing doors and blinds.

Have used this so far to set up a pole wrap (covering a metal pole in the basement with wood to improve its appearance). Other reviewers mentioned the lasers flashing; the manual explains that when the level is set to the manual, locked setting (i.e. not self-leveling), the lasers will blink slowly. I assume this is to alert the user that the display is not necessarily level, but I find it more annoying than helpful. I wish there were a way to turn it off.Other than that, build quality is good, the laser is highly visible (at least in indoor use), and I'm satisfied so far.

Old laser level died and I was in the hunt for a new one. For these old eyes, a green laser is definitely the way to go. A lot of choices out there, but I had great experience with Bosch's optical tape measures and went with them. Great pick. Doing fence repair, and this unit will not be suitable for outdoor work on a sunny day. However, I managed to get my references all set in the early morning hours without difficulty. For me, the accuracy of 1/8 inch over 33 feet was important. If you are in the market, pay attention to the accuracy spec. It can vary quite a bit.

Small, light, powerful green beam. I’ve had it for a week and framed a few walls, flushed out plates and studs, sheeted them with no shiners, plumbed and squared them all with the laser alone. Then shot it across a 75’ warehouse to find an adjacent mounting point. With skylights and fluorescent lighting I could still pick up the laser. The beam does grow at this distance, as I expect, but still gives me a great reference point to start from. I’ve worked with several lasers and this one will fit in my bags and do nearly everything I need it to do in my line of work.

We were doing some work and proud of our new green laser, the quality of the product is good though it has a bit of a funky mounting scheme, trying to catch a loop to unscrew the base mount. The auto-leveling worked well. My biggest gripe is that indoors during the day in a room lit by a number of windows the green beam is not that bright though it should be bright as hell given that the eye is very sensitive in the green. This laser wimps out when there is a fair amount of ambient light. That said, it was still useful in the kitchen and can do the job. A professional cabinet person brought his red Leica in, and it was much brighter than this Bosch unit. I bought this because it was green expecting it to be brighter than the red lasers, but it appears they went with low power green lasers, maybe to save cost.
