Usually any hole made in concrete is approximate at best.This bit was used with a smaller pilot bit to center exactly where the final hole would be. The built-in stop is perfect for drop-in concrete anchors. Reasonably priced, excellent quality. Used a cheap vintage hammer drill with great results. Made 16 almost identical holes. Very pleased.

A must-have for 1/4-20 concrete drop-in anchors. Overall length is around 4.5" which helps in tight spaces like waffle slab coffers.

Perfect tool to install drop in anchors. No need to put tape on your masonry bit, the stop is built in. I would highly recommend this drill bit for anyone who installs drop ins in concrete. Seems to stay sharp, I also recommend the Giotto's rocket air blaster pump ball for blowing out the concrete dust.

Great product, perfect hole depth every time, beats marking your bit with tape or using depth guides in tight spaces. I havent had it long but I dont expect it to stop drilling anytime soon, its Bosch quality!

These drills are great for installing drop-in anchors.You still have to stop the drill manually so you don't pound the stop into the material, but it makes it super easy to get the desired depth for drop-in anchors. I don't know why these aren't sold everywhere!
