We used this to adhere a 65 pound cast iron fireback to cement board behind our range. We saw this on TOH, they tried to not show what they were using but you can see just enough to ID the material. This stuff is a terrific adhesive and is supposed to stay pliable over time to accommodate the movement of the cast iron with temperature.

Have used it for years and it's the best stuff! However the batch I got was a strange white color verses the yellowish! It was thick and lumpy and never smoothed out! Very dissapointed with the batch I received from Amazon here! Hoping they see this review and give me my money back! Yet I had to rate it good as for decades it's been the best waterproofing made! As a senior project manager I have used hundreds of gallons of it in the past!
