Made with a longer taper from a different Material, this stopper does not pop out when wet. Much more reliable, it is the stopper of choice for all applications involving these Size carboys. Also will fit a 12 or 22 oz. beer bottle when used upside down.

Universal is pushing it a bit. But it is good and flexible with good chemical resistance. This stopper doesn't seem too change to much under different temp. conditions either (hadn't gone to extremes approx. -30° - 200° F)

I thought it might fit the Big Mouth Bubbler carboy lid hole, but it doesn't. I have other applications for it though. Like collecting dust in a drawer.

As good as caps get. Not some cheap foam, holds the seal wonderfully with a huge opening that seems to hold no matter what you put in, also perfect fitting for a blowoff hose. Honestly a step above and beyond your standard foam stoppers. I'll never look back.
