Do I have to use a fabric holder with Boveda in an instrument case?

YES! Always insert Boveda into a Boveda Fabric Holder before placing it in an instrument case. The fabric holder extends the life of Boveda plus acts as a liquid barrier if a pack is accidentally punctured.
Do I tear open the brown Boveda packet?

NO!!! DO NOT OPEN the brown packet itself. If your Boveda arrived individually wrapped in cellophane, remove that plastic overwrap before slipping the humidity control pack into a fabric holder.
Should I use a sponge or snake with Boveda?

No, do not use Boveda in the same instrument case with other humidification products, as this will reduce the Boveda’s efficiency. Ditch the sponges and hoses. No more rewetting— Boveda works automatically to balance the humidity in your case!
I live in a really humid place, so do I need Boveda in my instrument case?

As a disgusting the title, we have received a number of orders that these packages have arrived completely dried out and useless.If you are lucky enough to get a order that is not dried out, then they work just fine for any small to medium size cigar humidifier or humidor.Depending on the weather, i.e. humidity or lack there of in your geographical location, you'll have to do some trial and error with the different percentages to get your humidor to the percentage humidity you prefer for your prized cigars.
