My husband and I were leaving for a short 3-day weekend trip and had everything prepped for cat sitter to handle our two kitties while we were away, except the litter. I typically always have some in hand, but our replacement shipment was late so I didn’t have enough for extra topping while we were away. No big deal I thought, I’ll just go to our local grocery store and pick up some generic brand from the pet aisle.Fast forward to the day I get home and this store-bought litter had SO much fragrance that our house smelled of a foul sweet scent and the litter - everywhere! The cleanup was awful and just fell through anytime I scooped. It was in that very moment I remembered why exactly I had switched over to Boxie litter over 2 years ago and why I had never gone back to the generic brand litter. I had to immediately rechange all the litter with the now arrived package of our Boxie litter. 1000/10 will never use another cat litter besides Boxie.

So I’ve always heard great things about this litter, all over TikTok and social media, the reviews are great as well. I thought I’d give it a try since the last litter I was using did not help with the smell. This litter is good it is ACTUALLY dust free which is very hard to find since so many companies claim their litter is dust free then it’s not. It helps with my allergies as well as my cats. It’s not really easier to scoop it’s about the same as most clumping clay litters I’ve used. The smell I notice it works very well for the first few days or so, I scoop my litter boxes twice a day every day but this litter unfortunately still has a smell. I’m going to maybe try a different litter of theirs and see if it’s any better. I will probably continue buying just for the fact that it’s truly dust free. I do think it’s a little over priced though. :/

We used Costco/Kirkland kitty litter for about two years. We decided to give this brand a try—and we’re not going back. With the Costco litter, even with daily scooping and retaining the base litter, there would be a strong ammonia/pee smell after 1–2 weeks. We also noticed the underside of our cats’ paws became discolored (a bluish tint I believe it was), from the litter itself.Switching to this brand/litter has been a game changer (specifically Boxie Pro). There's no more unpleasant odor, even when adding fresh litter on top and scooping regularly. There’s almost no dust, and the litter doesn’t cling to the inside of their paws like the Costco brand did—which has meant less mess outside the litter box, which was a pleasant surprise. We had just accepted the kitty litter would have 'odors', but little did we know changing out the kitty litter was going to have such a drastic change. That said, quality litter has a cost. If you have the budget, *this is worth it*.

Here’s the good news: very strong clumping, easy to scoop and really does control odor. The bad news is that it’s very expensive and I found it tracked more than I would like. But really the price is my biggest issue for me. Ultimately, it didn’t seem radically different than most other clay litters that are half the price.

I’ve got four former strays now living the indoor life, and Boxiecat is the only litter I’ll use. It’s definitely more expensive than others, but honestly, it’s worth every penny. I have it on subscribe and save!I must add tho that 40lb bag will definitely give you a “litter back” so have someone stronger carry this for you. In my case, I use a scooper when adding more litter to avoid having to pick up the bag.The low tracking alone makes it a win. I used to find litter almost everywhere but simnce switching to Boxiecat, it mostly stays in the box where it belongs. I also really like that it has probiotics—makes me feel better knowing the house stays a bit cleaner, and my cats aren’t spreading stuff around every time they hop out of the box. Also, it works perfectly with my Litter-Robots (both the 3 and 4), which is a big deal. I do feel like this litter is better at clumping and is better with moisture retention compared to others; which saves me money in the end.If you’ve got a multi-cat household and want something that actually works, give Boxiecat a try. It’s the only cat litter I trust.

I recently made the switch to this litter after previously using Dr. Elsey’s brand because my kitty has been coughing from what I suspected to be the dust from the litter. To me there have been many pros for this litter. Compared to the Dr. Elsey’s litter, Boxie Pro litter is:- Less dusty (haven’t heard my kitty cough since I made the switch)- Much better at odor control, it barely smells like anything- More expensive BUT lasts twice as long so I spend the same amount just less often- Granules are lighter and clumps are much easier to scoop- Clumps well and doesn’t stick to the bottom of the litter boxHowever, a con with this litter would be that it tracks quite a bit. Can be a little annoying, but the pros outweigh this con for me.Really happy about this litter and it has made it much easier to clean the box. Also great that it isn’t irritating for my kitty since that was the main reason I switched.

I don’t think I’ve ever written an Amazon review, but I felt compelled to write my first. I’ve had a very picky cat for 14 years. If he’s the slightest bit unhappy with his litter, he will just poop on the floor. I’ve tried so many different litters it’s insane. I could never find one that I was happy with that he would actually use. I stumbled across this litter and I’m so glad that I did. I now have two cats, and I haven’t changed out this litter in almost a month (I scoop it every day) and magically, SOMEHOW, it doesn’t smell AT ALL. My cat hasn’t pooped on the floor a single time, there’s zero dust, so easy to scoop and it clumps so well. Every time I scoop it, it smells and looks like I just put fresh litter in the box. It’s at a very reasonable price point, especially considering how long it lasts. I highly recommend trying this out.

Boxie cat litter is the best cat litter I have used for cats in 60 years!!! There are no odours due to the litter drying up the poop and clumping the urine. It also doesn’t track everywhere. I have tried a few different Boxie types and they are all excellent. I highly recommend this cat litter.

It’s beyond me how this got so many positive reviews. The only good thing about it is that it’s dust free. Other than that, odor control is non existent, it’s been my least favorite and I had to buy two air purifiers for the two litter boxes I have only because of the lack of odor control. Clumping performance is very low, it crumbles as soon as I try to scoop it. Tracking is THE WORST. I wish I had the same experience of other’s but it was absolutely horrible, it’s dark in color and it’s spread across my entire house. Safe to say, won’t purchase again.

For the amount from 1 bag is expensive but also do note its not really dust free. However, the dust is very low to a minimal. Aside from that, it masks smell very well and low tracking. Its a win for me and my cats.

There was very little dust which was brilliant but it didn’t deal with smells very well. I clean out the debris every time my cats use it but it only took a couple of days for an unpleasant smell to linger which didn’t go away.
