I just received my survival bracelet this afternoon and have been wearing it all day. Items like this, I like to think you get them with the hope that you never have to use them, much like a fire extinguisher or a black belt in karate. As a bracelet, this item is very comfortable. The large size plastic clip can rest either on the inside or outside of one's wrist, rather like a watch face. The overall quality is very good. The provided paracord isn't the toughest around, but then I don't know that a more robust strain could be braided into an easy to carry bracelet like this. The compass and whistle both work very well, and the reflective bit of metal inlayed to the clip serves the double function of a signal mirror and fire starter/scraping tool (ferro rod not included). This item also comes with a small, water resistant, zipping nylon pouch with small carabiner clip and an additional 10' of paracord. As described on the packaging, the pouch can carry the additional cordage for easy clip on attachment to a bugout bag. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the item. I live in a remote location and use paracord pretty frequently for tying down tarps and other materials on my property. Every now and again, I don't have a spool with me, this is a nice, inexpensive way to always be prepared.Lastly, while the bracelet fits my average size wrist with room to squeeze a couple fingers under it, if you're rocking a pair of sequoias between your palms and elbows, this might be a bit snug. But, if that's the case, you probably won't need something like this anyway; just uproot a few trees with your bare hands, build a cabin, and wait for help to arrive. In all seriousness though, while I wouldn't trust this paracord to help me scale a sheer rock face, its enough strength and length to assist in assembling a makeshift shelter or other small fastening tasks. As for myself, the bracelet is comfortable enough for daily wear and I've put the pouch and extra cord in my truck along with my Morakniv Companion Spark as part of my backup field/bushcraft kit.

The survival bracelet is well-made and stylish, with a sleek black design that blends well with any outdoor gear. The paracord itself is strong and durable, and I appreciate the added features of the fire starter, compass, emergency whistle, and mini saw. These tools are essential for any outdoor adventure and could potentially be life-saving in an emergency situation. The 10' paracord bundle is also a great addition to my camping gear. The paracord is high-quality and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as setting up a shelter, securing gear, or even using it as a tourniquet in a medical emergency. I also appreciate that the bundle comes with a convenient carrying case, making it easy to store and transport. One of the things that sets this survival gear apart from others on the market is the fact that it is made in the USA. It's important to support local businesses, and I feel good knowing that I am purchasing a product that is made with quality and care.Overall, I highly recommend the Survival Bracelet & 10' Paracord Bundle to any outdoor enthusiast. It's a reliable and practical addition to any camping or hiking gear, and the added features make it a versatile tool for any emergency situation. The fact that it's made in the USA is just the cherry on top.

This is a paracord survival bracelet. It has a nice little pouch and 10ft of extra paracord. The camo coloring looks pretty cool..On the buckle part is a tiny compass, a fire starter, and a whistle. The compass works, the whistle could be a life saver, but the fire starter is a hard to actually use. Maybe it just takes practice, but the ferro rod is tiny, so is the metal scraper. This is a pretty nice item, it would make a cute gift for a boy scout...

It has all the features it claims - a whistle, flint rod, small blade, compass, and of course paracord. All work okay - none work as well as a dedicated item (like a nice compass or a nice flint striker), but if this is all you have in a survival situation, it's certainly better than nothing.Beware those with thicker wrists, it's tough to snap shut without help unless you have slender wrists, and it's not super comfortable. It also looks kinda dorky, so it's likely something you wouldn't wear daily, but more something you might put on in a hiking/camping/hunting scenario or in your bug-out bag for a SHTF scenario. I keep mine attached to my work backpack just in case. All in all, pretty handy in a pinch.

This is an interesting product. I like the little compass built in, that is a nice touch. Also, the middle prong of the plastic buckle is a mini ferro rod that you can strike with the little steel "cutter" that is built into the bracelet. I tested this and it does work, but it is very small. Seems like it truly would be a tool of last resort. I can say with complete confidence that the whistle is completely useless. It does not produce a whistling sound except maybe the slightest, almost inaudible whisper of a whistle. They threw in a little extra length of rope, I guess so you don't have to take your bracelet apart the first time you are in a situation where you need a bit of cordage. I do like the little pouch that it came with the set, it is one of the most useful bits of the kit.I have to say this is pretty much a gimmicky novelty item that, aside from the compass, I probably wouldn't actually use. That being said, the compass, pouch, and bit of cordage are worth the price of the item, and the tiny cute ferro rod is a bonus. If you want a whistle, though, get a proper whistle, not this plastic junk.

We got this to include in a survival kit we are putting together right now. Appears to be nicely constructed and easy to use. Good value for the money. Very lightweight.
