About this item

  • Professional Grade | Made specifically for first responders, the Seventy2 Pro builds on the legacy of their signature design, with enough survival supplies for two, additional tools, and a redesigned carrying system.
  • Upgraded Materials | The 600D, waterproof tarpaulin is now situated on a soft-frame harness with redesigned shoulder and straps for a true all-day carry.
  • New Tools | Separating itself from the original Seventy2 Survival System, the PRO includes a full-tang and rubber grip knife, anti-fog ski goggles, upgraded first-aid kit, metal water bottle, and more.
  • Expanded Insert | Contains conveniently organized safety and survival gear for two including a first aid kit, emergency food rations, fire starters, an emergency shelter, a tri-band radio, water filter, multi-tool, and more.
  • The Blueprint | Screen printed onto the insert are step-by-step survival instructions that detail survival techniques like fire-building, administering first aid, and staying warm among other useful survival tips.

You’re no stranger to emergency situations. After all, as a first responder, you handle them at work every day. With professional-grade equipment and a redesigned harness, Uncharted Supply Co. created the Seventy2 Pro Survival System for you. Using their original Seventy2 Survival System design, the folks at Uncharted added in a larger insert with enough material to sustain two people for 72-hours in an emergency. But they didn’t stop there. They also included professional-grade tools like a heavy-duty trowel shovel, a full-tang knife, and a comprehensive first aid kit. Finally, because they knew that you’ll be lugging this thing around, they redesigned the harness to give you a more comfortable, less restrictive carry.

Just looking at this packing list, its a joke. Hemorrhage is what kills people in trauma. There is nothing in this kit to remedy that. You need a REAL CAT TQ, or similar and hemostatic gauze at a minimum. This is a wannabe kit.

Seems like you can assemble a better quality, more useful, larger or smaller, bug out bag for a heck of a lot cheaper....

Overall this seems to be well thought out and laid out product that will be very durable with decent gear with a few exceptions.1 is the first aid kit. It is not a bad basic kit but it is just that. Especially as the product is listed as a "pro" set geared toward first responders. It has the basics but is missing a SAM splint, compression bandages, tourniquet etc.. I would rather see a kit that takes up the entire space of the slot in the inner pack that is more extensive. That a smaller bottle of spf 50 waterproof sunscreen along with a small bottle of insect repellent (in my area the bug juice would be more important than the sunscreen) and a slot in bag with a few empty bottles for meds.I will be upgrading some other items in it as well to more durable emergency blankets and shelter. As well as a few additions from self made emergency packs.2 I have some hesitancy of using the bottle to boil water (I could be wrong on this) The bottle feels like it is double walled not single which would not really make it suitable for boiling water directly in the bottle. I am adding another bottle that I know is single walled to this kit as well as a gravity feed filter that can hold a gallon of waterThe other thing I would like to see is the outer bag for sale independently. As it is for 2 people with a second bag more comfort could be added as well as turn it from a 72 hour bag to an easy to grab week bag.the outer bag does have room for extra gear including the Tenkara rod and small fishing kit and upgraded fire starting supplies etc.. Also as others have stated in reviews if you have large hands planning on replacing at least one set of the gloves. I generally wear xl or xxl gloves and could barely get my hands into the ones in the kit

All of the gear and components are high quality and well thought out. Embossed instructions are just was is needed in a stress situation. Although it includes a flash light I added a Headlamp. Also T-paper. I have it stowed in the house where I can reach it in an emeergency.

Now that we have such a well-thought out preparedness kit, we feel much less anxiety about handling a local crisis.
