  • PREMIUM HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION: Our brake caliper tools are made of heat-treated carbon steel with a high hardness and rust-oxidised surface that can withstand extreme stress without distortion. The reinforced push plate (1.57-2.83 inch adjustable range) ensures durability for long term use, making it an ideal tool for repetitive brake repairs.
  • 360°RATCHING MECHANISM FOR EASY OPERATION: The brake caliper compression tool features a smooth 360° rotating ratchet mechanism for full access to the piston. Simply swing the handle to expand/retract the piston plate without repositioning. A quick reverse switch allows for seamless mode changes (expand clockwise, retract counterclockwise), reducing hand fatigue.
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Designed for disc brake systems (not drum brakes), this 4-in-1 brake caliper tool works on single/dual/quad-piston fixed calipers and floating calipers. Includes two sturdy hooks (for calipers/hoses) for most cars, trucks and commercial vehicles. Steel plates (4.53 ‘x2.24’ and 5.79 ‘x2.36’) fit different size calipers
  • Ergonomic and easy to use: the non-slip rubberised handle (0.97" wide) ensures a comfortable grip and even pressure distribution. Its ratcheting mechanism requires very little force - just squeeze, wiggle and adjust until the steel plate matches the piston. Perfect for DIYers and professionals alike.
  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Product includes 1x brake piston compression tool, 2x caliper hooks for hanging calipers, brake hoses and other components. reliable after-sales support! I love the fact that this kit came with caliper hangers and gloves. Tool is very easy to use and required little effort. Much better than using adjustable pliers

This is an essential tool to have if you work on cars.Sure you can take an unconventional approach with a c-clamp and extra materials….but this makes things so much easier. The ratchet is smooth and easy to use. A nice bonus is that it comes with caliper hooks

I love how easy this tool makes it to compress disk brake calipers! No more needing 3 hands to use a C-clamp and old brake pad, this tool does it all and does it with ease! Nobody who works on brakes should be without this tool!

I can’t say if this is a high-quality tool since it’s my first brake caliper tool, but it looks pretty solid. It consists of two plates with a threaded rod in the center—one right-handed and one left-handed thread. One rod is hollow, allowing the other to slide inside. The center “nut” has a ratchet handle that turns to push the plates apart. It’s a simple design but very effective for pushing the piston back into a caliper. I find it much better than using a C-clamp because it keeps the piston straight as you push, and it’s easier to use. The tool seems well-made enough to handle multiple brake jobs, and for a DIYer like me, it could last a lifetime. I’m really happy to have it for future brake jobs and won’t need to use a C-clamp again. It also comes with a pair of gloves and a couple of hangers for the caliper. This tool works well for the job.

When doing brakes in the past I would compress the caliper piston by using a big C-clamp that I have and manually forcing it back in. My brakes are dual piston so this process is repeated a few times. That works just fine and I'd be content to continue doing that but this tool is nice to have. This tool compresses both pistons at the same time in mere moments. You just pop it in place and wratchet it a few times as the piston (orcompresses. Once fully compressed, reverse the ratcheting to loosen the tool and you're all done. This tool is solid and the ratcheting is smooth. The addition of a pair of hooks to hang the calipers on and a pair of nylon gloves is a nice bonus as well.
