I haven't actually used it yet, but it's heavy and seems sturdy. A little larger an I thought, which us good since I want to use it on a dog lead.

This clasp has as many uses as you can think up. Its strong and solidly made. I use them to secure my bird feeders, as the raccoons like to run off with them to the woods, where they can dine at leisure.
