I was using a slotted end to clean with before, run something like 20 wet patches to get the majority out, then run a wet mop to get the rest, then a dry mop, finally a patch with some oil for protection.My daughter started shooting trap so we were cleaning a LOT more often. Run this through with a wet patch and 95% is out on the first pass, ran a dry one on the end and it looked like a mirror. No need for mops or anything. Finished with an oiled patch and you're done. Probably saved at least 5-10 minutes every time I clean. Completely worth it.

Before I had these what I thought was a clean barrel was not as clean as when using this. And it takes less time using this. Good threads, nice fit. Probably already paid for itself in time saved.

does what it should plain and simple. jags are my favorite for cleaning and I'm glad I found one this size.
