I needed to mount an existing Ram Phone holder to my new e-bike and this device worked perfectly. I used a bushing I had laying around that fit this device and worked to hold it better.

This is a good strong, solid connection onto a handlebar. The 1" ball seems like it wouldn't ever break. 5 stars.

This looks good, but it would look even better if they reversed the drilled side and the threaded side.It's biggest positive for me is that it's lower profile, and fits where I need it with better clearance than any RAM mount that I've tried in my particular application.The pinned hinge and single fastener, though compact, mean that it can spin on my handlebar if forced. This is probably a desirable feature in the event of a crash. Only time will tell if it stays put out loosens up over time.I'm also using this with an anodized aluminum arm (instead of an actual RAM arm) and a RAM X-grip phone holder. The end on this ball slips if forced. The end on the x-grip does not slip at all

This ball mount is great. Does the job without a hitch. A bit smaller than the Ram brand. Doesn't quite fill the gap completely but that isn't an issue with me. If it starts to bother me I'll just cut a bit of foam insulation and fill the gap. What I really like about it is that it's half the price of the Ram brand. $13 as apposed to $25. That works for me.

I used this for a personal project, not real what it was originally meant for but it's got great hold and worked out perfectly for the project.

I purchased this because I wasn't thrilled with the one that came with my Garmin Zumo. This is much nicer and was a lot easier to install. Looks better too.
