Before I purchased this item, i read one bad review. It stated that one of the handles broke while in use. I dismissed that because other reviews are good and the price is very enticing. Do not buy this. While doing pull-up this morning one of the handles broke, and luckily I was able to hang on with out falling. I weight 170lb. This could be very dangerous if you doing specialty pull-up exercises. It though me lesson that safety is more important than saving few dollars.

Used for a little over 2 months and one broke. Not durable for the long run. Avoid this product as it is made from abs plastic. Fortunately I am strong enough to support myself with one arm or else I would have fell.

Great price at $5 per pair. Way cheaper than others priced upwards of $50 (you know the ones). These seem sturdy. Time will tell.

Didn't realize how handy these are for pullups, deadlifts, good mornings and band flies. Changing the grip puts less strain on my wrists (limiting factor for higher weight). These are solid (no risk of breaking), they are identical in size and length and easily slip off my Olympic bars or weight bands. My only minor complaint is because of the short length of the hook-end, it presses against my wrist when at full chest fly extension. 1/2 an inch longer would probably provide no discomfort. However, the reason I chose these was because of the short hook end to easily swap between bars or bands. I used the remaining provided tape to wrap around the hook end, which significantly reduced discomfort.I recommend wrapping the provided tape around the grips. Far better than expected.

Durable and versatile! Adds a new variation to my pull ups. Have used for deadlifting, seated cable rows, lat pull downs, and just about anything else I can think of on my functional trainer

There handlers are comfortable, but depending on the surface the hook is on it can be slick and will slide on the bare left or right. I was able to stretch a short length of road bicycle tire tube (rubber) over the hooked end, which provides enough friction that the handles will not slide on a smooth section of bar.

This is an interesting piece of equipment. I personally found it be useful really only for barbell rows, resistance bands, and maybe for cable machines. For resistance bands, and especially rows, it's awesome. For rows, the handles fit an Olympic bar with enough wiggle room so that you can rotate the handles an additional 15-20 degrees or so. This is very comfortable and great if you have shoulder/elbow/wrist issues. Since these are a type of plastic, they will not mar the knurling of your barbell. For deadlifts, these will work, but their weight limit is stated to be 300LB (136KG), so depending on how much you lift, you may have already maxed these out. They would be okay for pullups, but they are plastic, so I personally don't trust them for pullups even though I'm a 230LB guy. That being said, even though these are plastic, they are fairly beefy. The plastic seems kind of a like a much tougher version of PVC in a way. Regardless, when doing barbell rows with 150LB, I noticed zero flex or anything worrisome. I also hooked them to my pull up bar and hung off them, and even though I hung statically, I only noticed only the smallest flex. As mentioned, I'm 230LB, so even though I won't use them for pullups, if you weight less than me, it might suit you.Interestingly, they came with two small rolls of what I assume to be handle wrap. The handles are quite comfortable on their own, so I haven't found the need to use it.All in all, these are pretty good for specialized use. They really shine with barbell rows and resistance bands. I wasn't quite sure what I'd think of them being plastic, but for my use they are solid.
