Great for the price and they work perfectly for my purposes (mead and cider brewing). Though buyer should be warned, they don't come with the caps. I had to buy mine separately, but was still cheaper then buying from a seller that includes the caps.

I like to make Iced Tea by the gallon and store it in glass containers. So, I recently purchased multiple glass jugs of which I am currently on jug #3. Within a week the first suffered a chipped neck and a second jug suffered a temperature shock crack shortly thereafter. I guess you could say it was my fault and greatly assisted by a cheap, fragile product. This glassware simply cannot handle temperature shock or day to day use. This is due to the cheap and very thin Soda-lime glass constructed just like throw-away jam jars. And it seems all are imported from China. No doubt the lighter shipping weight is a factor. I attempted to find a quality heavy duty Pyrex type Borosilicate glass made in the USA. No can find! Not even a heavy weight glass seemed available. Has cheapness completely pushed out quality? I would recommend company’s stocking of some higher quality glassware. Initially costing more but in the long run less expensive and certainly less frustrating. Reduced aggravation will cover any difference.

Bought these for my dad. He made wine from muscadine and scuppernong grapes that we grow in the Southeast USA. They seem to be heavyweight and high quality at a great price.

Are use these were storing water. A little pricey but very well-made. We use a zero water filter and it makes no sense to put the water in plastic since the chemicals in the plastic will leech out into the water.

These are exactly as described. Perfect for the small batches of mead I was making. At the time, this was the best deal available, so I went for it. Usually you get what you pay for, but since this is a simple 1 gallon glass jug, there isn't a whole lot to mess up. These don't come with caps included, so if you need some make sure you order them separately (or, if you're like me, you already have a ton of growler caps sitting around. Those fit just fine). The items all arrived intact and well packaged. I'll definitely purchase again if I need to increase my production capacity.

I bought this for my 12 year old grandson that seemed to be struggling with just everyday frustrations of life in general. He has 2 younger brothers that are ADHD and have anger issues so life can be difficult to say the least at times. It has only been 5 days but he feels it's making a difference in the way he feels and takes it on his own every morinibg. He's already after me to order more so he doesn't run out. Please read up on this new little company that is trying to make a difference in more than one way.

Nice, am able to fit a finger through the hole in the handle to help carry or pour. Seems pretty sturdy. I like that it does not come with the caps so that I can choose the ones I want to use myself.
