It is disappointing that this item is essentially a disposable item. It has no OFF button. When the internal battery runs out, you just throw it away and purchase a new unit. I think this feature should be part of the item description to alert the buying customer. I am now aware that there is another unit which has an Off button. to save on battery life.Unknowingly, I spent $50.00 on something that I use only once and when I have a reason to use it again, the internal battery will have run out and I will have to purchase another unit. This is in my view un-ethical, to say the least.

No count, Piece of junk. I really needed a good small engine tachometer so i purchased B&S. Biggest disappointment of Christmas 2016. I was devastated. returned for refund. Company great to work with. no fault of theirs.
