It look and works good, but it's not bright enough for really dark places. I have to say hardware that came with it, is really holding up.

This thing looks great on my wife’s bike, but for what it costs and its functionality, it isn’t quite worth it. The brightness leaves much to be desired and the fact that it requires batteries instead of similarly priced rechargeable models, I say ditch the looks and get something more practical.

This light is all metal which is what I was looking for. Not the brightest light out there but this one suits my flat black classic cruiser perfectly.

This is a very nice bicycle light if you want the "classic" look. It uses 3 AAA batteries, the switch is at least water resistant though the light as a whole is probably not. I had a little trouble getting the batteries in the first time, it uses a standard 3-battery holder and getting the center battery in required a bit of practice. Mounting it to the handlebar stem required me to drill the hold in the bracket out slightly, but overall mounting was easy. I REALLY like how it looks. I only ride occasionally at night. I am less worried about it showing me the road and more concerned about car drivers seeing ME. For that purpose it is bright enough. Call the illumination average, like an LED flashlight. I like it much so far. We'll see how it holds up.

The retro design in flat black finish except silver latch button and rivets and mounting bracket that I coverd with black marker to blend in with the houseing, the light output from LEDS is very bright, the top mounted rocker switch has water prof cover.

I just got this light and installed it a day ago. So far, it's completely exceeded my expectations. For $18 I was just hoping for a pretty light for my pretty bike, but I ended up getting a high quality piece of functional art! It really has the look I wanted for my bike, and the light is surprisingly bright! I live out in the woods with no streetlights, and riding last night was wonderful! I could see easily in front of me. My neighbor actually suggested tilting it down because it was too bright for him to look at! When I first turned it on in the garage, I didn't think it looked that bright, but when you use it for it's purpose, it's perfect.

This isn't well made. It came with two brackets, and neither worked to clamp down the light so it stays pointing in front of you. I went to ace to get a rubber grommet to get it to stay upright. I ordered two. I got one to work. Did I mention it was also missing the bolt to attach it to the bike frame? Not sure how this has four stars.
