NOT METALLIC! DULL DRAB COLORS! DO NOT lay down smoothly! White bloom on all colors! Slim barrel uncomfortable to work with! Core is VERY small in diameter! Extremely disappointed in their performance.I went back to see if I could save these pencils. With multiple layers and heavy burnishing, you can achieve a metallic finish. What worked best for me was a clockwise counterclockwise motion, that brought the desired effect. However, would I want to have to put in that much effort for an entire picture? Probably not. For small accent areas yes. But if you want instant gratification, you should probably stick to pens. Showed up MUCH better on black paper. Light paper was ok but not satisfactory for me. So I’ll up my review to 3 stars.

I got these thinking they would work on black paper. Unfortunately they work just as well as regular colored pencils on black paper. Overall I'm happy with them for use on other works. High quality, don't shred in the pencil sharpener, nice color.

Me encanto la cajita donde venian es de carton muy resistente, los colores no son tan suaves como los prismacolor pero tienen buena pigmentacion aunque no son tan metalicos como los prisma.

I like these. The lead glides on smooth, looks good. I have not had any issues with breakage.

The pencils work really nice but the led breaks when you sharpen them so they go really fast. They must have been dropped so the led in the pencils broke into pieces. No one could have known this though

These are my favorite metallic colored pencils beating out Crayola Metallic FX and Faber-Castell. They come in a really nice box, and they have soft cores so you don't have to press hard to get the color (no hand fatigue). The colors go down smoothly without lines or streaks. They all have a nice brushed metallic sheen. Most metallic pencils don't have enough colors and they don't have enough sheen. These are great! They are manufactured in Taiwan, and distributed by a company in San Francisco, CA, USA.

These pencils are ok. Others mentioned that the lead in them is not really shinny. I found that to be the case. I wish they were more brilliant. However, I'm keeping them and have used them already.

Very nice set of metallic colors. Roughly $1.00 pet pencil. I had purchased a 120 artist's set that had most of this set included. I still returned the set and thank you for a prompt refund.

These are great colored pencils. I really love the colors. I am one of the countless people who have discovered that coloring is a great way to relax. Finding good colored pencils can be difficult, have purchased several sets, and have found only a few that i truly like. Will be re ordering this set for sure.

I wasn't sure about the pencils after I read some of the reviews but I thought 'why not'? I received them today and couldn't be happier. I love the choice of the colors! Definitely would buy again. Great for shading and burnishing!
