Bought this set of color pencils for my 9 year old who needs a new set every year for school. Not the best set, but works for the most part. Tips break easier than we would like

The only real complaint I have is that the pencil that says the name is "Rose Red" is actually fuschia. The pencil bottom shows a purplish color, as you can see in the first photo, and I also included some spots on a Mandala that I colored using that pencil to show that it does not color in a "Rose Red" color.Aside from that, I just want to mention that some of the tips look a little ragged, as you can see in the 2nd photo. This isn't a deal breaker for me, just beware and maybe color something that doesn't need perfection first with it to help smooth the sharp edges down and it will be fine.All of the colors worked great, the color transfer was very smooth, as you can see in the photos, I like that you don't see lines, it just all blends together very nicely.All in all I would probably order these again.

I recently ordered an adult coloring book, and needed colored pencils. Enter this set and I thought it looked promising.My guess was correct. They looked to be nicely made, and arrived unbroken during shipment. I did a quick little test and each feel good, albeit if simply briefly.I'm eager to have things settle back to normal after the holiday season (tomorrow) and I may have time to do more arts/crafts, etc. and use these. I recommend them so far, and if something comes up that changes that or throws up any red flags, I'll return and say so.Happy New Year, relax and color on. :)

This set of pencils has its ups and downs. On the plus side, most of the colors are vibrant and the wood quality seems excellent. On the downside, there’s no white pencil, and several of the tips were already broken when I got them (see photo). When trying to sharpen them, the lead kept crumbling in both electric and hand-held sharpeners. Some leads would also just crumble whe drawling. Purple was the worst offender. They might be okay for children but the constant breakage is pretty frustrating.

Not too dark not too light yet the perfect blend when put on paper. Smooth and soft coloring for kids and adults. Sharpens great, no sharpening all the way down to a nub, no easy breaking lead.

These colored pencils arrived well packaged, and in good condition. They are of good quality, and I would put them on par with other value priced colored pencils. They are perfect for art and craft projects, for school, or just for fun. They are not an artists high end set, but they are not priced like a high end set. I think they are a very good value, and I would recommend them.

I have been using these to color my adult coloring books and some simple drawings. They work well for my limited artistic skill. I have had no problems with them and love how the colors look.
