Dancers and most importantly ballet dancers have been spinning on the stages for a long time,
and we all realize the beauty and toughness of this skill, but it doesn't come that easy in any way.
A proper ballet turning needs the right spotting, a strong core and maintained balance.

This turning board is a valuable tool for improving pirouette balance and turns, but it's important to approach it with caution and care. In the beginning it’s important to take it slow as the board significantly reduces friction and you will go fast quickly. Be careful of slipping. Starting slowly and gradually building up speed and control is important to prevent falling. This board takes you around quickly and requires control. It helps improve your balance with the curved nature of it and helps improve spotting as you have to keep up with the speed of the board. Overall this turning board is useful to improve balance and spotting for turns, but it requires caution to use.

My daughter needed a turning disc to help practice her turns. It's perfect. Soft platform, turns quietly and smoothly.

My daughter and I have had a lot of fun learning to do spins and control rotational speed on this little device.It has a nice smooth surface and at first glance seems like it would be ok to use inside on hard floor surfaces, but if any little dirt or debris happens to be underneath it it can quickly start causing scratches and damage. Because of that i have had to make this an outdoor only toy.It works great on concrete, wood, rubber and other solid outdoor surfaces. It was possible to use on carpet but did not maintain much spin.Overall this a very fun and economical toy / training aid
