Crushing distortion, vicious mids, and aggressive saturation are at your fingertips, without sacrificing string-to-string separation or sensitivity. This was put into an Agile baritone guitar that will likely be tuned to drop b instead of b standard once some slightly lighter strings are installed. It sounds great, sharp but not too sharp, cuts through the mix very well. Obviously your sound comes from the type of speaker you use with your amp, along with the amplifier, how you record, etc. Still, this pickup is great and costs almost half as much as some Bareknuckle Pickups I was looking at. Type of music played with this pickup that made this review a positive one: Gojira, Down, Machine Head.

This does everything and well. Longest sustain and nice growl to it.
