Did not work as described. App never connected and seemed to be out of date. Star still lit up so used it without all the functions advertised, but product is not worth buying.

I ordered the lighter colored lights - I just received this tree topper light and I tried it out before I’m putting my tree up. The light colors are vibrant & beautiful it goes through a bunch of phases and colors. I did take a video but it won’t let me post it here, so that really bums me out because this is a real gem!I’m going to use it on a fake 5 foot white pencil tree this year because I don’t have the strength to get my big tree out of the shop this year. It’s not Christmas without a tree and lights, no matter how small!I don’t think a person would be real happy with this on say a 6 foot tree or bigger but really you could use it for just a decoration light! I just love it. It is so perfect.! (I’m hoping that the video doesn’t post 510 times because I keep trying to add the video & it just says Cancel … lol)

The remote and lighting controls are nice.A lot of options but most of them are based on cycling between all the colors.There are only 2 options when you choose just two colors (my color theme this year was red/green so it wasn't as helpful).For me, it's just too dim to use.It is noticeably dimmer than the rest of my tree lights.I'm suspicious of the battery (would rather be able to plug it in) but I can't say for sure how long it would have lasted.I did play around with it for some time but decided not to use it this year as I thought it would be more of an eye sore than a highlight.The tree topper really should be a highlight for me so back in the box it goes.However, maybe I just have a lot of lights on my tree.

Great star and was easy to get App from Playstore. Many colors and scenes to choose from. No more changing batteries! My husband is happy about that. You can also make bright light or less.

Bought this to top my daughter’s own tree this year. The controls are easy enough for her to use and has lots of color variations. Only complaint is that 2 lights were not working so one whole star point doesn’t light up. She’s almost 4 so don’t really notice or care and while I wish it was all working, she likes it enough that I wasn’t going to take it from her and send back.
