My cat is getting spayed so I got this cat cone collar for her. She's a 5.5 lb cat with a 6 inch neck girth and the size small fit perfectly. I'd definitely recommend measuring your cat's neck girth and using that measurement (not weight) to determine what size to get. Putting it on the cat was really easy, and then you just need to tighten the string once it's on. My cat is able to pull the cone off when the string isn't tightened. My cat really didn't like this initially but she's getting more comfortable with it the longer it's on. I do think this is more comfortable than a hard plastic cone because she's able to sleep on the collar like a pillow and it doesn't weigh her head down like a cone would. She's still able to eat and drink with it on as well.
