I have searched everywhere for a soft cone that was wide enough to keep our cat from reaching a hot spot inside his back leg. I've ordered a dozen or more and none fit the bill. They all were too small in width and he could easily maneuver around them to continuing the licking of the wound. Finally came up on this one and it is PERFECT! Our cat is 11 lbs. and I ordered large. It is wide but it is what we needed to help him finally heal!!I am so impressed with it that I am ordering a back up right now!

It seems to be made well but was too small for my cat and the collar didnt have much room to tighten up sadly, seemed more like a small dog collar than for a cat

Well made and a good size for most cats and small dogs. Looks nice too. Just soft enough to allow pet to lay comfortably, but still able to prevent them from reaching wounds. Nice product!

JVVGPET soft cat cone collar, plaid, Size SmallNo smell upon opening which was surprising. This came shrink wrapped and I was expecting a smell, so a good start. I let this fluff out for a few hours and I kneaded the fluff a bit to to distribute it. A stiffer soft collar which was needed post surgery for my cat. Looks adorable on him, he thinks it's more dignified then the one shaped like a flower I wanted. He seems to be more comfortable in it than the plastic collar post surgery. He's reaching his food and water easier now and has a soft pillow to rest his head on.Pros- a soft yet stiff collar. My cat has not been able to reach his back leg surgery site. Easy to put on and off. Fabric can be wiped down and appears to be machine washable.Cons - for me, the buckle is too large. I don't want that large of a buckle under my cat's chin. So when I put my cat's head through the cone, I pushed the buckle back through. Easy enough to change out with one of my smaller cat collars. No washing instructions.
