The key quality of the door handle is that it is extremely strong due to its thickness yet it has a beautiful shape which really looks very good. These days, the styles are more for flat edges and sharp corners and this one fits the bill very well.The installation was a breeze and the color looks extremely nice. This non shiny golden matte finish looks very nice on the white door and enhances its beauty.The other key thing to note about this door handle this that it is very reasonably priced and hence offers a very good value for money.We've had it on for about two months now and it is performing brilliantly. You get three keys in the set and is very straightforward and easy to lock and unlock the door.Overall, a great buy

This has a beautiful satin gold finish, which is what immediately drew me to it.Upon beginning the install though, I noticed that the screws on the lock side of the handle are immediately to the left and right of the handle. It's very difficult to screw it in and secure it without turning the lever, so I essentially had to turn the handle to a vertical position WHILE holding the back securely to the door AND screwing it in. This is an absolute hassle, given that you can purchase the otherwise same lock for the same cost from a different seller on this site, and have an easier time installing.It's beautiful, sure, but not worth the hassle. Be sure to purchase these locks with screws above and below the handle for easy access.Two stars simply because of aesthetics!

This rather heavy handle gives it a solid feel. To see what made this lever so heavy I decided to find out if the casting was solid. I cut into the handle (see photo # 2, and yes, destroyed my latch). You can see from photo #2 that the handle portion is indeed hollow, and NOT solid. It is made of a zinc alloy so the weight comes from the zinc.I noticed the ends of the handles had some sharp corners (see close-up photo #5). Since this handle is made of a cast zinc alloy (which is silver-gray) the sharp edges could not be filed or sanded off without the base metal showing badly. The corners seemed to dig into my hands somewhat.The flanged latch bolt is of the kind that requires a routered inset area in the door edge if it is to be properly installed and sit flush with the edge of the door. So KEEP THIS IN MIND, as it will take a lot more work to professionally install this kind of latch bolt -- if you don't cut or router an inset area into the door edge, the latch will be sticking out past the edge of the door in an unsightly manner.Overall, this is a strong latch which could use some more quality finishing on its edges.

I ordered this Heavy Duty Keyed Entry Door Lever to update my older doors. These are really nice door levers. These handles have a great weight to them. They are attractive modern looking handles. They lock and unlock smoothly both manually as well as with a key. I've been using them for a few months now. They still look just as beautiful as when I installed them. They're scratch resistant. They haven't faded at all. They fit a standard size hole in my old door. If you've ever installed a door handle, these will be easy for you to install.Overall, great value, great quality, highly recommend.

We needed to match our garage entry door lockset with our front door lockset. We love the brushed gold with square rosette, and this one is perfect! The price is in line with a regular big box store locking knob, but has a lot more flair. It installed easily in the hole we removed the previous lockset from, and took about 15 minutes. The lever handle looks sleek and modern, and is a nice accessibility upgrade.
