I'm using this on a camper and the fresh water holding tanks are not huge.We camp in areas that don't always have water hookups available.We have a fresh water auxiliary tank to get extra water, and getting it into the camper holding tank is a breeze with this pump.The speed is good and hooking up is not hard at all.The light was an unexpected bonus. I really like this pump and I'm glad to have it.Since it came with two batteries and a charger - it is a great value. Batteries and charger are compatible with some other equipment we have, so it may eliminate having to carry a specific battery/charger just for this item. Weight and space are always important on a camper.Works great.

This pump pumps water fine, but will only run for 15 sec cannot get it to run longer. Cleaned out rotors to pump still wouldn't run.

Pump works for 5 seconds and shuts off. That's it. Turn it off and back on. Same thing. Junk!

We didn't use this product right away as it was too cold at the time, but we were getting ready for the spring watering season. About 2 weeks ago, we charged both batteries up, went out to transfer water, and one battery was dead out of the gate. The other battery worked great. We used it several times now to transfer water with just the one battery, NOW that one battery is also not charging... Of course we are out of the return window. We have also tried to use the DeWalt batteries that it's "supposed" to be compatible... but they only work for 5-10 seconds, but these same Dewalt batteries are working great with our other items..At this time I could NOT recommend this product.

The first pump I received would run great for about 5 seconds and then shut off. It did this consistently no matter which battery I had in it. I brought this concern to Amazon and they replaced it immediate. I've only used the replacement once, but so far it works great. I didn't give it 5 stars because it will not use all Dewalt batteries. I have several powerstack batteries that wouldn't work and the batteries provided will not charge in a standard Dewalt charger. You must use the charger provided for the batteries that come in this kit.

The Brushless Water Transfer Pump works great. I used it to drain my hot tub for winterizing. It has a high flow rate and I was able to empty the hot tub on one battery. I also like that it uses Dewalt batteries, I have plenty of Dewalt batteries and I thought I would need to use one of my other Dewalt batteries but it was able to drain the 500 gallon hot tub on one battery, very impressive.I liked that it came with two batteries and a charger. These batteries can be used in any of my Dewalt tools. That is a great plus.They pump has a high flow rate.I would recommend the Brushless Water Transfer Pump.
