I bought this to use with the grandsons, and we love the results. It does take about a month to get to the final product, but they’re 8 and 10 and understand it takes a while. We keep it on the back porch and set it and forget it.

The screw to the lid came loose part way through the first batch of rocks. We dealt with it but by the time we got to grit two on the second batch of rocks, it was impossible to get the lid back on. So we can't even finish the second batch of rocks. Kind of sad. Of course, by now, it's outside of the return window.

Got this for my child and they love it. It does a really great job on rocks and glass. It isn't super noisy, but it does make noise. We just set ours out in our spare room and we forget it's going. Great gift for those who love rocks or sea glass.

My niece loves to explore nature and she fell in love with this rock tumbler right away. The look on her face was priceless. Out of all of her birthday gifts she has talked about this one nonstop so I'm beyond happy. It works as described and she has a collection of beautiful rocks now!
