I ordered these lights in purple and used them outside on my bushes during the christmas holidays. i mixed purple and white lights on my bushes. The purple lights barely showed up from the street. I felt that I wasted my money because the bulbs were so dim. I thought the lights would be a bright purple. Just the tips of the light bulbs were bright which is perhaps why the bulbs were not as bright as I had expected. Perhaps the purple lights would work better on a Christmas tree in the house.

great product! bought it off the lightning deals, found that they are just as they advertised which is a good thing
