This is the battery eliminator for the BTECH DMR-6X2 series radios. To use the eliminator simply clip it to the back of the radio in place of the battery, then plug the cable into a cigarette lighter or accessory socket (12V only).
This allows your radio to run off the vehicle or selected 12V source. The eliminator supplies power to the radio directly from car.

...if you like to use an HT a lot in your vehicle. This is a simple design, a "dummy" battery with a 12V plug coming from it to power the radio from the cigarette plug. It is easy to swap out the battery and get on vehicle power. If you want to use the BTech 6X2 as a mobile, this is a must-have. It works well and it's very reasonably priced. Another excellent product from BTech!

I am currently using this item in my home with a 12 power supply. The DMR 6X2 is working perfectly with it and I amnot discharging the batteries that came with the radio.

the Battery last about 2 Days on continues operation (listening about 90%). The mic make it easy to take the radio around and still copy what's going on the Repeater. 73's

This works great for my radio! The first one I got, I must have gotten a bad one as the fuse blew as soon as I plugged it in. BTech however, as soon as I had commented to them about it sent me a completely new one that works great!These guys take care of their customers! Thanks BTech!
