I couldn’t get the tops off my brewing bucket and this is just what I needed. The brew store sold a plastic one for the same price so I was happy to find a sturdier one.

Handy tool that is well designed - the part that exerts pressure on the top of the lid is fairly wide - I'd say about an inch and this prevents the tool's leverage from piercing the lid and ruining it like other openers do! I've had others that are barely and 1/8" wide and the force exerted when opening stubborn buckets has resulted in a broken lid. I don't feel that is likely with this one - it feels well made and sturdy and the handle part is coated to make it more comfortable and you less likely to feel the sharp edges. Good value and a tool worth having if you regularly seal and unseal 5 gallon buckets.

As a tool, it works perfectly and does exactly what it aims to do. The hammer side and various sizes of pry bars really do wonders for opening up those pesky paint cans. I just wish it were made of a more solid metal. Feels cheap in the hand.
