These were an easy install. Love having the remote. Air flows 10%-100%, in and out. With the lid closed for driving, you can still run the fan in or out at 10%. Rain guard is great and works well. You turn rain guard on and leave it on, we haven't turned the fan "off" yet, no need. Love the blue lid in the bedroom - cuts down on the light drowning my bed in the morning! 5 stars except we had 2 of our 3 error out once each - had to turn on and off manually and they worked again. Used them for 2 weeks solid and that's our only complaint!

For the money and easy replacement from oem . The rough opening on R/V’s are a standard 14” so that’s makes the install real easy… Like if you have everything there to go like total time install and sealing up like 30 -45 minutes tops taking your time…

I have the older version installed for the last year (no remote). I'm a full-time RVr and wintered in north Utah for work. The slight air ventilation when closed was great for dropping the humidity in the camper even when the fan was off. I only had to use one small dehumidifier (rated for 800sf) in the dead of winter (and used a pressure cooker for stews) to maintain dehumidification of 45 to 50%. I was worried the small constant air exchange would leak much heat. No, it worked out. My 20ft lance only used on average 45lbs of propane to heat a month from November to April. Also, the polycarbonate lid is much thicker than any of the other fan covers I have used, installed, and seen on the market. It lasted a hail storm in Colorado that blew out my other 2007 Maxair that came with the camper. Now if I could only find a polycarbonate lid that is double-layered and does not have a vent... oh to dream.
