I never knew I needed this item until I saw it listed. The time I received these was prior to my cancer. I have a neighbor that loves to host dinner parties and he also loves his wine and has a wine collection. He also loves to cook. So, most of us just brought a bottle of wine. I was happy because this allowed me to bring 2. He also loved to give out wine from his collection, so I was able to take two home. I cannot tell you how safe I felt putting them in the bag as opposed to trying to find a bag that they were not going to hit each other or possibly spill, especially if it's red wine. These are still holding up to this day. I no longer drink due to cancer, but I gave them to the host. And he loves them. They have been used for a long time and they still look brand new. These are great if you host or are invited to a dinner party. And need to bring wine or take wine home.Edited to add to review day posted: I am catching up on my older Vine reviews. I was diagnosed with cancer (Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma DLBCL) and was not able to keep up with the reviews. I am now dedicating time to get caught up. What I went through with cancer, and still do, changed my outlook drastically which I think helps me more with my reviews. Thank you for taking the time to read them.

I am not a huge fan of neoprene, especially the odor that usually accompanies it, but for this purpose it seems like a reasonable choice. The neoprene will provide insulation and cushioning naturally for the two bottles of wine. An opener is included which is nice. I have used a fancier carry that also includes glasses, etc., but it cost more, is much larger, and heavier. This one is much more compact and easily stored in your bag, car, or wherever needed. Easy to carry with the handle and being neoprene it's pretty much waterproof and low maintenance.For an everyday carry and especially for impromptu day-trips, this would be a great choice.

We live at the beach so we have a lot of ice chests and cooler bags, but these neoprene bags have always been my favorite - it keeps the wine cold for quite a while, and it also protects the bottle from coming into contact with rocks on the beach... bonus points! The best thing about these bags is that when you're not using it you can roll them up and store it in the glove box of the car so it's handy when you need them. I had a single wine bottle bag that I kept in the car for years, and one time when we stopped and picked up a bottle of wine on the way to join some friends on the seawall for sunset, but when we got there no one had a bottle opener. The one we usually kept in the car was MIA, and no one else had one so we couldn't drink the wine. A serious drag, so when I saw this one with a wine opener built in I was all in! That's a brilliant idea. We'll never have to sit sadly looking at an unopened bottle of wine again!PS - Writing reviews has become an accidental hobby for me, and it always makes my day to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.)
