Purchased the Gold Tone Pins and the Five I used for Bedding (securing Pillow Shams) these all have faded back to the Base Metal Color. Even the Pins still in the original Package!I wonder if the Silver Tone is just as defective?

Was at times hard to pin thru backpack nylon to add additional pouches.Like the 3-5" sizes. Wish it was a little sharper tho.
