What can I say. Wrong thickness despite the label. My ruler and micrometer shows it is 1/16" thick.Otherwise is good. Takes time to get the rubber smell out. I'm keeping it for projects. Good that I ordered and received a silicon product that was actually 1/32 inch thick as advertised.

I wanted an oil resistant material to make a gasket, and this was supposed to be oil resistant, but it swelled up, softened, and became deformed after a couple of months. This was for a mechanical fuel pump on a car.

I purchased this item because one of the answered questions said it was good for use with oil distillates in other words diesel fuel gasoline etc . Wrong.
