Water lettuce floats on the water’s surface due to specialized, air-filled leaves that resemble floating heads of cabbage! The large leaves have a beautiful blue-green color and soft velvety finish! Incredible floating root systems increase natural filtration & oxygenate water! Floaters provide much-needed shelter & shade, resulting in improved water quality & ecosystem health. You may find your pond fish eating the floating roots as a nutritious snack or using them as a safe spawning site! Simply toss your water lettuce into the pond with roots facing down; no planting necessary!

Note: Be sure to use dechlorinated water for your floating plants. Never dispose of unwanted floating plants into natural bodies of water, as they can interfere with ecosystems. If you wish to remove some from your pond, simply pull them out & throw them straight into the compost bin or trash!

They were shipped in a plastic walmart-like sack inside a box. Everything was yellow when it arrived only one survived. They dried out. The last one didn't live long afterwards.

I was worried at first because my goldfish ate off all the roots that didn't fall of when washing them off on arrival, but strong light and nutrients helped them recover and thrive. They're slowly taking over the top of the tank! Very happy with my purchase.

This was my second order from Chalily. Both times the plants have been healthy and good size. They arrived quickly, but the best part is customer service is excellent. They had sent the wrong plant for my second order. I took a photo and shared with them, I had ordered the lettuce and received water hyacinths. Lily was awesome. They offered to refund my money or send the lettuce and I wanted to try the lettuce. They were also nice size, healthy and beautiful!. Do not hesitate to order from Chalily.
