I've always wanted one of these compact butane torches to add to my kitchen tool arsenal and I glad I chose this one. I really enjoy cooking and in the past I've used a propane torch which I also used for sweating copper pipes which was a little over the top...lol.This torch has a premium look with a nice black chrome metallic finish which looks better than the pictures. I chose to also purchase an adapter on Amazon so I can use the same inexpensive 8 oz butane canisters that I use in my table top stove to keep this torch fueled up.This torch lights up with the pull of the trigger. There is a trigger lock which allows you to keep the flame going without having to hold the trigger. This is great feature for when you are torching a lot of food. At the back of the torch there is a flame control that controls the amount of airflow providing a wide range of flame length and heat levels.

I'm so impressed with this butane torch! It's become an indispensable tool in my kitchen, and I've used it for so much more than I expected. This is a cool lighter to light anything up that you don’t want to get up close on. It can be used for many things. It is good size and the flame size is adjustable from small to large. It has a nice shiny coat that makes it look really nice. It is easy to use and grip as you use it so it fits in my hand comfortably. Adding butane is very easy and it has good power once butane is added.
