These can be used on face frames with a width of 2.5 " to 4.5". The drill hole only fits one size of hinges. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Well made, sturdy and one piece aluminum frame.

The clamps are pretty strong and havent shown any signs of wear yet, nor do they feel like theyre losing their grip. They have worked just as well as the expensive brands and its hard to even tell them apart at times. You cannot go wrong with these and youll definitely get your use out of them and they will last for quite some time.

I have some cabinet installation coming up and picked up these clamps to help with it. A quick test shows that they'll be a great tool to have. The padded jaws will save me from clamp marks in the wood. They're not super strong, but they don't need to be. If you have to use a lot of force with these you're probably doing something wrong. They just need to line things up so you can drill, and then swing the guide out of the way and put your screw in. Nice, simple, and they'll live on the shelf until the next cabinet project. They're both aluminum and powder coated so there's no worry about corrosion leaving a mark. Not something I'll use everyday, but they're the right tool for the right job and will make it a lot easier.

Leave marks on face frame of cabinets , really bad product

The clamps are not a quality product. The ball on the handle fell off so handle will not stay in the clamps. The screw that goes in to keep the face plate even stripped out on the second cabinet. Without any pressure on it. The hole to drill for the cabinet screw are to small, so once drilled you need to move the clamps to put the screw in.

I spent countless hours sanding, prepping, priming, sanding, prepping primer again, sprayed a beautiful finish on cabinets just to have them ruined by this s***** clamp. Back to taking it down. Aunt putting wood filler in there. Sanding, prepping, priming and spraying again. Save yourself the headache. Do not buy these
