A great price for these nicely braided, heavy gauge Speakon connectors. I tested these with my Class 'D' bass amp, to connect to my speaker cabinet, and they do just what they're supposed to do. No issues at all. I don't know how these will hold up- but hey appear to be made as well as brands costing more, that are simply made in the same place.Recommended!

Earlier reviews were spot on. This item is hit or miss. My particular speakon cable was great when it was working, however, it died after only two shows. Tested the cable which showed NO continuity. Proceeded to open up the cable and needed to solder the positive lead on one end. Apparently, the connector worked itself loose. Was not surprised based on how much the item cost.

cavo speakon con connettore compatibile di altre marche più famosela saldatura non è fatta benissimo, ma il connettore funziona senza problemicavo di dimensioni adeguate, non troppo rigido.dovrò comunque rivedere le saldature, non posso permettermi di avere falsi contatti

Decent quality and at £15.99 a pretty good price for a pair.I prefer a twist-fit locking mechanism, but as I got these as budget-conscious spares, I'm happy with the press-down latch - I just have to remember not to twist!The braided cable feels sturdy, as do the connectors. I've handled some cheap connectors with thin cables, and I'd worry about cable cracks as they age. I wouldn't worry about having these in my gig bag for years and pulling them out confident they'd still be working.These are advertised as 0.9m long but when measured, they're (roughly) 1.0m tip to tip, and only 0.8m of exposed cable. They're fine for my purposes, but if you're aiming for a snug installation (for desktop monitors for example), that's probably useful information for you.Some reviewers have commented on a loose fit and sticky release latch. I've only tested them in one scenario so far and didn't find those issues. I did have trouble clicking-to-lock into the speaker cabinet I was testing with, but I found the same issue with other cables I tried, so am happy that's probably down to the speaker. I'm only mentioning in case it is an occasional issue, so that you check yours when they arrive rather than a few months down the road.Overall a decent buy.I've not used the Cable Matters brand before, and would definitely consider them again.

Ces câbles Speakon/Speakon font 6 pieds de long, soit 1,8 mètres. Ils sont bien finis, la gaine est en nylon tressé, les deux conducteurs font 2mm de diamètre (12AWG), et les connecteurs sont des modèles sécurisés de base.Ils fonctionnent parfaitement, pas de soucis, cependant je relève un point qui me chagrine : la qualité des soudures.En effet, en ouvrant les connecteurs on découvre un spectacle étonnant, avec des gaines fondues, des parties plastiques brûlées, et surtout des soudures d'une qualité médiocre. Je peux comprendre que souder des fils de 2mm de diamètre n'est pas chose aisée. Il faut beaucoup de chaleur, ne pas rester longtemps en place, et ne pas être avare en étain. Mais là, tout indique que ce n'est pas la technique qui a été utilisée, et le résultat parle de lui-même. Ce n'est vraiment pas très beau.Je suis donc un peu déçu par ces câbles de haut-parleur Cable Matters. Habitué de leurs câbles pour l'informatique, j'en attendais plus au niveau de la qualité globale. Pourtant, cette paire de câbles Speakon est vendue 30€, ce qui commence à représenter le milieu du panier en terme de prix, et ça autorise l'acheteur à se montrer un peu exigeant. Mais ici, tout est basique, et j'ai même dû refaire les soudures. On trouve sur Amazon toutes les pièces détachées pour se fabriquer les mêmes pour moins cher, et avec des connecteurs d'excellente qualité d'une marque célèbre. Donc quitte à dégainer le fer à souder, autant commencer à se poser la question...

Connectors feel a bit cheap of plastic but at least the cable and rubber piece feel solid, for 13 dollars per cable, you can’t go wrong when Best buy is selling these Speakons for 40 dollars. Seriously, best buy has one of the worst reputations for audio and cable fraud, especially the audioquest side of the store. Amazon is the way to go for basic necessities like cables, i don’t need your platinum plated, ultra balanced, unicorn blood BS, Best buy!

Pros: The cable and the connectors appear to be heavy duty and high quality. It's rare to find 12 AWG speaker cables at this price.Cons: The assembly was poorly done. Two of the four cables had audio problems. Upon opening the ends, I found that the screws holding the wires to the connectors were loose. Several of the strain lock nuts were loose, too.After inspecting and tightening all the ends, the end result is a set of high quality cables that work well. If you're willing to do this, then you'll end up with great cables at a fantastic price. If you're unwilling or unable to spend a few minutes with a screwdriver, I would look elsewhere for your speaker cables.
