Was able to wire all 5 of my speakers into the awning. The wire was easy to run and connect.

My house was built in 1983...so it has all the bells and whistles of that time...rough cut cedar ceiling beams on vaulted ceilings, crown molding, open floor plan, and even a closeted wet bar in the livingroom. what it does NOT have is any sort of entertainment wiring or cabeling. This speaker wire is a dream to run if all you have is a 2 person team and only one of those people is the "squirrel in the attic "...did I mention vaulted ceilings!!! Which are accompanied with small crawl spaces...anyway, you can leave this dispenser box unattended at the far end and pull the wire with a fish rod and there is ZERO kinks, snags, tangles (I have in the past run wires that if left with slack or unattended look like you put a 4 year old with long wet hair to bed and dealing with the rats nest in the morning). The outer shielding also slides down inside walls like a dream, there is enough overall weight for it to fall fairly straight without hanging up on any other wiring, while being supple enough to maneuver in tight spaces.I could go on and on about the ease of use of this product whether you are a pro or a weekend attic warrior but I guess I should also mention that the surround sound in my livingroom is FANTASTIC!!! Yes I am old school and actually have the surround speakers...in addition to the surround speaker bar ;)

I used about 300 feet of this cable behind walls. It's thick enough to snake around but not too thick where it's difficult to bend. Cable comes out of the box with ease (I was pulling the cable from 50 feet out without issues. The quality of the shielding seemed good and seems the 12 gauge rating is accurate.Does take up more room in the A/V rack though, so just keep that in mind.

I used this to rewire my home theater system because we rearranged the set up. I was really impressed with the quality. I got the 12ga wire. This stuff ran great great, easy use, and I cant believe the price. This far exceeded what I was expecting. One piece continuous roll. It even had the footage printed on the sheath so you could tell what was left as you pulled it. I will definitely use this product again.

I don't usually take the time to stop and do reviews but I felt I needed to in regards to this speaker wire. I was just amazing with the quality of this stuff. It is think, copper and very nice speaker wire. I bought this thinking it would be inexpensive wire for my ceiling speakers, it was in-fact inexpensive but from a quality standpoint there is nothing cheap about it. I ended up re-running all the wiring in my dedicated theater with this stuff because it was so good. If I make you a pare of interconnects with this wire and handed it to you I bet you would think it is a very expensive speaker wire and it would sound just as good!

Was on the fence with the debate over this aluminum wire. I think it is just as good sound wise, though we bought the 12 gauge as recommended to be larger than needed if using real copper. The easy pull box worked fine and it was easy to pull. We did not find any cuts in the wire where it had been pieced together, but then I bought much more wire than needed as I really didn't want to not have enough, so maybe just didn't find the splice if there was one.The wire looks of quality and we will never see it as it is run in the walls and attic under insulation.I was worried when we went to strip and put ends on it that it would be too brittle like aluminum, but it worked just fine and if I didn't know better I wouldn't have known it wasn't copper.I am happy now, and hopefully will not need to replace it, time will tell.

Shipping was fast and as expected.Wire quality is very good for the price. Better than I expected with thin strands and good shielding. For in-wall installs it’s great because you have the extra protection much like Romex home wiring. My only problem, which is not really a problem is that i wish I could have purchased a smaller roll. Oh well I guess I have speaker wire for another project now. At this price, this wire can’t be beat.
