Never ever use aluminum clad cat 5 on anything networking.No idea why this stuff is even legal.Aluminum clad is not good for any networking period.Absolute trash.These people came up with a way to spray aluminum with a thin copper to maximize profits.Under no circumstances use aluminum clad for POE applications. It's a big No No.It should be a big No No for any networking applications.Do not buy this trash. Don't go cheap you will regret it.Few bends and twist of this cable and the connection is history. Try bending brittle aluminum and see how easy it breaks.I repeat do not buy.

My business goes through about 50k feet of CAT5/6 each year. I've tried other Amazon brands of UTP, but typically just buy Superior Essex CMX in the same style pull box as these. This cable is cheap in every way. The jacket is thin and weirdly stiff, pretty sure the wire isn't fully copper, and 4 of the 6 boxes I ordered had damaging kinks mid length. We will still use it for CAT 3 purposes, but I wouldn't recommend buying for data.

I was surprised there was ends on it. On both sides of the 1000ft. Used my network cable tester just to see wire was good all 1000 foot. Made my runs everything worked great.
