Package includes: 1 Golden Red feather pen made with metal and engraved, 3 nibs, 1 metallic engraved pen stand, 1 ink well and 1 gift box.
Our calligraphy nibs come with protective oils on them to ensure they reach you in the best condition possible. Please follow the instructions below before using the calligraphy nibs.
Instructions
1. Please remove the nib already installed in the quil pen by gently pulling it out.
2. Dip a soft toothbrush in water to moisten it.
3. Squeeze a little bit of toothpaste/dish detergent onto the brush.
4. Scrub the brush on nib for about 30 seconds.
5. Once finished scrubbing, drop the nib in water for a few seconds to get the toothpaste/dish detergent off.
6. Fish the nib out of the water and wipe it dry with cloth or paper towel.
7. Push the nib in the pen, dip it in the ink about half way through and enjoy a magnificent writing with your new calligraphy pen!
8. After use, please wipe the nib clean so it works great in the next use as well.

I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. She showed me how well it works. Seems to be good quality and design. Comes with several tips that seem somewhat similar to each other, but the one she showed me worked really well and held ink longer than I thought a quill pen would. It would have been nice if it came with a calligraphy tip, but it didn't.

The ink is terrible. It smells like cheap children’s paint. The ink is super light, not black. If you look at the photo, the ink is lighter than a normal pencil.The way this pen is designed, ink gets on your fingers while writing. However, it can be washed off with soap.The feather is also broken/poorly constructed in two places, at the base and tip of the feather white parts are shown.You are probably better off buying calligraphy brush pens or a plain wooden calligraphy pen without the feather.I was super excited to get this pen to try out the old fashioned style of writing, however this was a disappointment.
