Love the ingredients in this mix!!!Kelp has tons of minerals and micro-nutrients. Worm castings and rabbit manure are classic organic fertilizer.Crab meal and seabird guano are nice additions I don't see as often. This is super easy to use, I mixed it in with my fig when potting up and also soaked it in water to make a 'tea'.My dog thinks its good too. I was putting some into a bottle to soak and a couple pellets fell to the floor. My Lab got to them before I could, but I'm not worried like I would be if it were a synthetic fertilizer. I would keep this away from kids and pets, like any fertilizer. But your dog will probably smell this and think it's smells quite yummy, so make sure they can't get to it.

This looks a lot like alfalfa pellets. I'm pretty sure it includes some alfalfa like those used to in animal feed such as for rabbits, but this includes some additional ingredients on top of it. Specks of calcium carbonate (from crushed oyster shells) are visible, I can't confirm the other added ingredients. It's an interesting approach to reusing byproducts as an organic fertilizer. The instructions say to rehydrate this before use. They end up changing the water color quite a bit, almost like a tea. I'm not quite sure how to dilute or split this out as part of other amendments. I may end up using this as part of the compost bin. That should help add nutrients to my compost results.

Love these pellets. I transplanted a lot of plants and added these to my dirt and I was surprised at how well my plants produced more foliage and looked healthier.

The ingredient list of these fertilizer pellets is quite impressive and is easy to mix into your potting soil. A little bit goes a long way that you don’t want to overload the soil, so I just use a few pellets per pot of soil mix and I try to keep then just below the surface to allow the water to help dissolve them into the soil for the plant roots to to take up the nutrients. I’m looking forward to using these with my 30+ varieties of tomatoes I start from seed each year since I do tend to get blossom end rot from poor calcium content in my garden soil. Watch your nose when you open the package….WHOA!! That means it’s a potent mix though!

Woo wee does this smell! It is very potent, in the best way when you realize what the ingredients are. I love that it is all natural... only the best for my plants! It is a bit difficult to use as a liquid fertilizer as they don't dissolve easily without excessive mixing. My picture shows how they look after stirring, after 24 hours of soaking. The water definitely turned green, but I think they are much easier to use as a slow release on the base of the plant. So far so good, I will come back with updates should I notice anything more worth sharing!

As a cheapskate, it's a little expensive for a small bag but considering all the natural ingredients included in this fertilizer makes me ok with buying more for my garden. With all the risks that comes with mass modified food being grown and produced nowadays we are looking to grow our own food source. The pellets can be integrated into the soil easily but I was most excited to learn that instructions were included that it can be made into a tea by mixing a few tablespoons to a gallon of water. This is my preferred method of applying fertilizer, both by adding to soil and watering it in at other times. Here's hoping for a healthy crop this year.

I ordered these for my husband to use in his soil he intends on using in his cannabis plants. He just recieved them a few or so days ago and mentioned as time goes on and he has a chance to use them he'll provide a little more feedback pertaining to how well he&his plants like this perticular product. At this time he doesn't have any complaints to state about this item.

This is the sort of stuff that should be good for tomatoes. If you have bottom rot on your tomatoes, they typically need more Calcium, which this has. The bag seems bigger than the 1.5lb would suggest. It's expensive stuff, but then fertilizer is right now.
