Unfortunately, when I purchased this muffler pipe it stated it fits a 1999 Honda Fourtrax 300. I took it to a mechanic for installation and it does not fit. Since I could not have the purchase and the installation done close together, I am stuck with a muffler pipe that was a Christmas present for my grandson and the loss of $117.70.

My exhaust pipe arrived quickly. Easy to install, didn't have to remove any body parts from my Honda 300 fourtrax. Now I have a quiet ride, don't annoy my neighbors.

New complete exhaust system. I had to cut/ grind off brackets to fit my 98 300 Ex. So it wasn’t a direct bolt on replacement. Still to me a great buy. Machine is much quieter.

I used this on a 1988 Honda fourtrax 300 2x4. NOT a 4X4 quad. I bought this with the expectation of cutting off the silencer and rewelding it to my existing head pipe. After removing my exhaust from the quad I basically only needed to cut off 1 of the mounting brackets from the new pipe and open the rear upper bolt hole slightly. Entire system then went right on and sounds amazing. Used all existing hardware. very very happy. Saved $138. I only paid $91. Pipe for my 1988 was $229.

The over all sound is pretty good. Trying to bolt it in place was a nightmare. Only 1 of, I believe 5, mounting holes were in the correct location. The rest had to be enlarged or moved. The shipping box appeared to be adequate.
