Seems to work as intended I'll update as time goes on if anything changes. There's no leaks and it seems well made.

This regulator works well enough but has a couple flaws.First it's noisy during operation, not an issue in my current installation but it could be annoying if it was near the bedroom. The second issue is a bit more insidious: to switch tanks, the lever must be turned DOWN through off and UP to the other tank, this poses an issue when placing the cover over the propane tanks; it is all too easy to bump this valve into the off position. The original regulator to my RV worked the opposite way, you had to spin the knob UP through off and DOWN to the other tank, meaning it was impossible to accidentally shut the gas off while installing the tank cover.I can get past the noisy regulator, but the configuration of the tank switching valve is inexcusable.

Had my 2022 Grand Design Reflection TT for 6 months and the on demand water heater started to throw the E-1 gas code when it would try to ignite every now and then. It was usually never a problem unless I was in the shower!!! I thought it may be the regulator on the water heater because the stove and furnace seemed to work fine. Just as a thought, I decided to change out my main propane regulator and now I have no more problems with the water heater. The stove seems to have better flame as well, even though I did not recognize a problem before. But with the new regulator it seems that the flame is stronger. Very easy install. Use the proper thread tape designed for propane. (Yellow not White). This regulator did not come with screws or a mount but my old regulator screws and mount did work. I do not understand why it wouldn't have screws, but I have come to expect that from everything I buy these days. Happy Install

My Jayco travel trailer had a recall on the propane regulator. The dealer had no idea how long it was going to take to get the new regulators in to do the recall. I wanted to camp before the month was over so i did some research and found a lot of people with the same problem. Found a forum online that said this regulator was a direct replacement. It said some might need to change the lines to the bottles. Mine didn't. The only thing i had to do was drill a couple new holes in the mounting bracket on my camper to get the new regulator to bolt up. Super easy fix took less than an hour to get it done.

I recently purchased a Forest River Flagstaff towing trailer and needed to replace the faulty Cavagna propane regulator with the Camco 59005, which had been recommended to me by the dealer. The Camco looks and feels much more robust than the Cavagna and so far has worked fine. My only problem with the Camco echoes that of many other reviewers; it does not come with a matching bracket although they do include two screws and a template and instructions to redrill and use the existing bracket, in my case the cavagna bracket, if the holes don't match the template. They didn't. And the Cavagna bracket had grooves in it such that I had to drill the holes on the edge of the grooves which made it almost impossible to get the holes properly matched. I drilled the two hole as best I could and then needed a small chainsaw sharpening file to extend the holes so they matched up with the template. And then once I got the bracket to fit and went to mount the regulator on the threaded postthat holds the propane tanks, I found that the Cavagna bracket was too small, not allowing for enough space to tighten the large wing nut. The wings would hit the regulator. Granted this was an easy fix; I used a vise to bend the wings up so there could be enough clearance. My other beef is that the green/red indicator is dim and hard to read, particularly when using a rigid propane cover. The red/green indicator should be on top. Even after these complaints I gave it a 4 star rating because all the above arereally mild annoyances against the fact that, once installed, the regulator has worked fine. But it is mind boggling why a matching bracket is not either included or made available for purchase.

The instruction say there is an indicator that turns red when the bottle switches. I see no such indicator. Now it would be possible to run out of both tanks without notice instead of just one, Not really more convenient.Shipping was quick, extra bushings provided for different size fittings on supply hoses. Installation was easy.
