Plenty of room in the pack for snacks, keys, and cell phone. Was also easily able to fit a Hoverair drone in the back as well when using water bottles instead of the hydration pack. I find myself using water bottles more often for my bike rides as the water pack and hose are just a bigger hassle to keep clean. The soft padding and mesh on the back contact point are comfortable, but when mountain biking, the mesh holes are large enough to allow chunks of dirt to get in.

Works great! I am a motorcycle instructor and spend many hours outside, on my feet and have difficulty getting the water for hydration that I need. I decided to try a Camelbak and the waist pack seem the most simple. There is not a lot of room for extras, other than some small snacks, lip balm, and a few other small things. But, the hydration pack side of things is the best. It works well. Carries 1.5 liters of water that is easily used. In addition to the main water bladder, there are pockets that hold a SmartWaters easily and well. Recommended.

This particular pack is for the stage. I'm a performing guitarist, and this makes it really easy to stay hydrated during a show.I'm also a lifelong mountain biker and I've been using Camelback products since 1989. I know and trust the brand.

It's a Camelbak so you know it's a well made product. The pockets are very roomy. The bladder is a bit of a pain to fill and the drinking tube, at least for me, was in an awkward location. My biggest issue with it is that it's heavy, which is to be expected when full of water, but it doesn't stay in place very well even if adjusted very tight around the waist. If you want to use this for hiking I would recommend against it. If you want it for mountain biking and stand a lot and ride aggressively, I'd definitely avoid it - you could come out of the saddle only to sit on this pack when you sit back down.

This is great for single speed riding. The way care as well. It’s a little bit annoying trying to get the bottles back into the pouches, but they do stay in securely. I use Camelback podium bottles, and do not use the bladder. Instead, I keep all of my trail, repair tools and an extra tube. I loaded up pretty heavy and it’s still wears pretty nicely. these are my favorite way to carry water, less sweaty than a Camelback, and you have the ability to store a good amount of tools with a pretty minimal sleek design

I have used this on every ride since I bought it. It has room for tools, snacks, phone, and keys… and holds a decent amount of water. It is comfortable and I love the upper body freedom.

I LOVE the bum bag……..but the bladder I don’t like.Find it hard to bite the valve and drink. Makes me gag as I bite.As far as I know, all the hydration bladders are bite and drink?I don’t like this. But……… I thought Camelback would be better for the bladder. It’s not,The bum bag is good but not worth £70

Item was great the first few times I used it, then the hydration bladder started leaking. I tried to contact the seller thinking I had gotten this item directly from Camelbak and would be covered by warranty. Come to find out that this is a 3rd party seller that has ZERO contact info regarding any issues. Buyer beware. I really thought the Camelbak logo meant I was buying direct - definitely not so.

I was comparing this to the Evoc E pro 3 and it was a tough choice, but in the end the Camelbak MULE won for 3 main reasons:1) Complete with a water bladder and hose so no need to buy separate - not included with Evoc2) Elasticated luggage expander is very useful - Evoc doesn’t have this3) less padding on the side and front of the waist belt equals less sweat zone - the Evoc is more padded but no more comfortableI recently did a 65 mile endurance ride and couldn’t tell I was wearing this pack! I ran it without the bladder so that I could pack a water proof and extra food. I had two large bottles on the frame and stopped to refill them. When riding my normal local trails it just carries a pump and tools/tubes and is very comfortable. Doesn’t get in the way or hinder you.I like knowing I have the bladder incase I need it but chose not to as standard.Quality is as good as you would expect.Versatility is excellent.Comfort is Excellent.
