  • Stainless steel is incredibly durable and hearty, so you won't have to replace your BruTrek Hand Grinder for years to come! Because they are so sharp, they also allow for a quicker grind time - so you can get to the good stuff faster!

  • With the handle on the grinder, turn the adjustment knob all the way to the right until it is tight and closed. The further left you click the knob, the coarser the grind will be. The further right you click the knob, the finer the grind will be.

  • From a completely closed position, we recommend a Fine Grind for Espresso (~21 clicks,) Medium Grind for Pour Over (~42 clicks,) and Coarse Grind for French Press (~70 clicks.) We also recommend you play with the grind to find what suits your taste.

  • The high capacity of the hopper (32-40g) means you won't have to spend all your time grinding! General guidelines: BaseCamp 48fl.oz = 1.5-2 hoppers, BaseCamp 32fl.oz = 1-1.5 hopper, OVRLNDR = 1 hopper, Steel Toe = 3/4 hopper, Double Shot = 1/2 hopper

  • We recommend a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio, ​​meaning that for every gram of coffee, you will need 15 grams of water, but you’re welcome to experiment and find what works best for you.

This is advertised as for camping and honestly I think it's overbuilt for that and does not pack down that well. Overall it's very nice grinder but will be staying at home when I go camping.

I own three manual grinders. This has a great feel, sturdy build. Good grind. If you’re doing fine, you get a bonus workout. BUT for the price, this does. It come with any accessories or even a carry case. It’s advertised for camping, without a good way to pack it. I can’t recommend this at this price point when superior brands are available with more to offer in the range.

I want to live this grinder, I really do. I love that the company is Montana based and that their goal is to create coffee gear for adventures. I’ve been looking to add to my backcountry setup, and thought I’d found the perfect brand to do that with.It’s an ok grinder but my issue is that it has zero pack-ability. It doesn’t even come with a carrying case. At this price point it definitely should. It feels a bit like this company cares more about profit than actually providing a complete product and happy customers. I’ve had manual grinders half this price and also double this price and all have come with a case. It’s honestly a huge disappointment that this one doesn’t, especially since it’s marketed for adventures.Please improve your product. Do better.
